LVA Highlights Excellence in Mycotoxin Reference Materials at Food Tech Congress in Novi Sad

LVA GmbH proudly participated in the Food Tech Congress in Novi Sad, Serbia, where David Steiner, Head of Product Development at LVA, presented a compelling talk titled “Bridging the Gap: Mycotoxin Reference Materials and the Perception of Measurement.”

During his presentation, David shared key insights from LVA’s recent quality study on mycotoxin liquid standards, which examined the validity of Certificate of Analysis (CoA) claims and the qualitative aspects of reference materials. The findings clearly demonstrated that LVA’s products not only meet the highest quality standards but are also highly competitive in the market.

He concluded by highlighting the 4 Golden Rules for Reference Material Manufacturers:

  1. Purity determination of raw materials

  2. Implementation of a robust quality management system

  3. Post-production quality control

  4. Long-term stability monitoring

With 400 participants from 29 countries, the congress offered an invaluable platform for engaging with industry leaders, sharing expertise, and showcasing LVA’s commitment to innovation, precision, and reliability in reference materials.

LVA looks forward to continuing its mission of pushing the boundaries of excellence in mycotoxin reference materials and supporting laboratories and industry partners worldwide.
